I only came to CA as they said it never rains!

And guess what it did today? Admittedly for about 4 minutes but I still feel I have been duped.

Busy day painting and unpacking the POD - which arrived without anything inside shifting (or breaking so far). POD is now empty and garage is now very, very full.

Children happy to have some of their stuff back (some of which was packed up in January when we started to prep the house for selling). Am continuing to hide some boxes and will gift wrap them come December - could be their best holiday season ever. Every time they ask about a beloved toy, I am suitably vague as I can't remember whether I threw it out or did actually pack it (probably the former considering my mental state towards the end of the move). There will be tears once all the boxes are gone through. Character building if nothing else.

Will's room was painted today. Very yellow. Same room Michael had growing up, although his wasn't quite so yellow (but then I'm not sure anything is quite so yellow). Michael was able to put their beds together after searching 20 odd boxes for the screws - however they had been put somewhere "safe" by me in CT but due to previously mentioned mental state, couldn't remember where the hell I had put them. They were found somewhere entirely random... but very safe. RP
