Soccer parents

Children's soccer is taken very seriously here. Maybe I was able to ignore its presence on the east coast, but I can't here. That or I can't ignore Will anymore.

The most popular teams practice once during the week after school and them a game at 8am on Saturday mornings. In true Parisse fashion this seemed like way too much work. So we found a Saturday morning program (10.30) that was more skills orientated than game. Plus it allowed us not to have to get up too early. Morgan even asked to play as there were no games involved.

So here we are watching soccer practice. I have had to find some shade a it is too warm in the sun and the coach gave a lecture about sunscreen. Michael and I laughed when they said they cancel practice if it rains! Soft!
