Toronto to Bowling Green, OH via Niagara Falls

Big travel day yesterday - 430+ miles - but a lot of those were in kilometers so they went quite quickly.

We had a great Tuesday night in Toronto - we stayed at the lovely InterContinental Yorkville (thank you Simon) and managed a family dinner out that everyone managed to be well enough behaved at to warrant a sundae to finish the meal off.

Wednesday morning we got up early and headed off to Niagra Falls. The children we suitably underwhelmed by the falls but thrilled with Tim Horton's (an upscale, and vastly superior Canadian version of Dunkin Donuts).

We then drove through New York, Pennsylvania and into Ohio to visit Michael's Aunt Susan in Bowling Green  We had a very nice dinner even though Will was stuck in Will overdrive mode with no off switch. *deep breaths*.

Today we had breakfast with Sue before she took us to the Firehouse (about which more later from Michael) and we hit the road to Chicago. We are attempting to spot license plates from all 50 states which is surprisingly addictive and takes up a lot of road trip - the children play sometimes as well. On the plus side, Will was persuaded to have a good nap so fingers crossed that dinner will go a bit better tonight! RP
